For donation by check, please make the check payable to: Parks Foundation of River Oaks.

Online Donations by Credit Card

The Foundation website accepts donations by credit cards. We take precautions to protect your information. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.

The Foundation will never ask you to submit your financial data, such as your credit card account numbers, via e-mail. IF YOU RECEIVE AN E-MAIL REQUESTING THAT YOU SEND FINANCIAL INFORMATION BY E-MAIL, DO NOT REPLY DIRECTLY TO THE E-MAIL AND PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY VIA THE E-MAIL ADDRESS ON THE SITE.

Credit Card Fees for Online Donations

When you make a donation online using a credit card, the Wix Payment Processor withholds a service fee. This means the full amount of your donation will not be applied to the Foundation. A schedule of service fees by payment method are listed below.

 

  • American Express Card: 3.7% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD 

  • All Other Credit/Debit Cards: 2.9% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD

  • Apple Pay: 2.9% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD

  • Google Pay: 2.9% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD

Donation Refund Policy

The Foundation is grateful for your donation and support. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to the Foundation please contact us within 30 calendar days of your donation. Refunds for donations made within the past 30 calendar days will be returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card. Unfortunately, requests to refund a donation made more than 30 days ago will not be eligible for a refund. Contact the Foundation by email to request a refund at parksfoundationofriveroaks@gmail.com.

Automated Recurring Donation Cancellation

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us by email at parksfoundationofriveroaks@gmail.com.
